Rhabdothamnus solandri Turepo, Waiuatua.

Leaves 1-2cm long, toothed. Flowers 2-2.5cm orange or yellow stripes

North Island
A particularly handsome flower. Common name is New Zealand Gloxinia. The plant grows in the forest and prefers mottled lght and doesn't mind wet feet. Common on stream sides.
