Pomaderris kumaraho Kumerahou, Gumdiggers soap.

Leaves 5-8cm. long with prominent veins and midribs. A shrub to 3m.

Flowers numerous and bright yellow in spring.

North Cape to Bay of Plenty
Kumarahou is a medicinal plant.  It makes a lather if the leaves and flowers are crushed and stirred in a bowl of water. A functional lather and soap like product is made. A plant of  northern gumlands and clay banks.
